For your daughter, Lord, whose name you know. Watch over her. Bless her. Guide her by your grace. Let her feel the love of friends and family during this trying time. Help her to stand firm in her faith and never waver. Set her whole being on fire by your consuming love. O Lord, keep my friend close to you. She needs you. .. And Lord, if it pleases you, let me bear some of the burden - in some way - so that she may not suffer this trial alone. Amen.
