Lord, you made the heavens and the earth. You aligned the stars and gave light to the world. You are the Almighty. Look kindly on your children and hear us in our time of need. In your mercy, Lord, heal the sick, comfort the afflicted and give faith to the doubter.

Lord, fill the hearts of the angry with your love. Make them joyful in your presence and help them to see you in others.

I do not understand anger, Lord. It so greatly offends you and still we, sinners, let it in so easily. Why do we not run to you, o my Love? Help me never to be angry and help me to be patient with those that are. Fill me with your peace and never let me seperate myself from you. Amen.
