Lord, hear our prayer!

+ for the holy souls in purgatory
+ for the suffering and hopeless
+ for those with no one to pray for them
+ for the sick, dying, and our beloved dead
+ for our troops everywhere
+ for a peaceful end to abortion, euthanasia, artificial birth control and capital punishment
+ for our priests and other clergy, especially throughout the United States
+ for our Holy Father, Pope Benedict XVI, and all of his intentions
+ for Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Corsicana
+ for the upcoming confirmation retreat and the apostolate members working on that
+ for my talk at the upcoming retreat on our call to holiness
+ for the lock-in for life and remnant cd release party
+ for the holiness of my family
+ for the intentions of all the Friars and Sisters
+ for my vocational discernment
+ for all those whom I've promised to pray

in thanksgiving

I pray in thanksgiving for...

...all of the doors opened by God so that I could make my trip to New York. ...the beautiful sisters of the Franciscan Sisters of the Renewal in the Bronx. ...the opportunity to serve God's beloved poor with such a beautiful order. ...the friends and family who prayed for me while I was away. ...every grace and blessing.

For the lost

Lord, please help those who have become lost in a world of abuse in any form to seek You and find a place in Your Church. Let them not be dragged further into the grasp of their faults and weaknesses, but transformed in their minds and renewed by the grace of our Savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.

For Maximilian, on the day of his baptism

+Lord, bless and keep Maximilian all the days of his life. May he remain ever faithful to you and your Church. Guide him in ways of goodness and never let him fall away from you. Holy Mary, show Maximilian your son and his sacred heart. Wrap him in the mantle of your love. Be a reminder to him of purity and pray for him. Most chaste St. Joseph, may your example lead Maximilian into a blessed manhood. May he imitate you in your ways with women.
